The Old Style Jass Band is a formation dedicated to revisiting traditional jazz from America’s “roaring years,” offering it with an original and current interpretive approach. And formed by 5 professionals from the province of Verona who recreate the typical New Orleans atmosphere respected in timbre and spirit, also because of the use of some original instruments of the time. The mood of the band passes through the more modern musical experiences of the individual members of the Old Style Jass Band, which are evident in the arrangements, interpretations of the repertoire. The sounds of the Missisipi Blues, Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, Bix Beiderbecke, and other giants of the early 20th century and post-World War II era are breathed into the Old Style sound. The Old Style Jass Band can enliven with its repertoire any event whether traveling or fixed, in open spaces or in clubs, theaters and other enclosed spaces. We can have typical clothing as in the video or in black with a tie or bow tie.
