The Ipanema quartet was born out of the need to expand an already proven duo as Claudia Valtinoni on vocals and Toni Moretti on bass in early 2010 at a very important jazz festival, so bass and vocals were joined by Gabriele Bolcato on trumpet and Edoardo Zocca on drums, with whom the repertoire takes a more rhythmic direction while the use of trumpet provides the search for different and pleasant sonic nuances. Since their debut day, the quartet has given many concerts, both in small venues and at larger venues and jazz festivals, and they have released 2 CDs making their repertoire functional for different situations from time to time.

MUSICAL STYLE.

They offer a selection of classic rock/blues, pop, jazz, ranging from soul to Italian singer-songwriters in order to meet even the most refined taste. They arrange each song tending toward originality, but never exaggerating the performance and maintaining a constant dynamic throughout the performance. They are equipped with professional instrumentation, and in addition to providing an extensive live repertoire, they are able to keep every moment active with a background of listening music through researched playlists prepared by focusing on the individual occasion.
